Who we are

Southern Performance Swimming Club was established July 2017 by an amalgamation of Fleurieu Swimming Club and South Coast Swimming Club, formerly Reynella Amateur Swimming Club (EST 1973).
The Club is based at the Noarlunga Leisure Centre with 25 and 50 meter pool configurations and offers a structure which encourages involvement of its members at many different levels. The Club aims to provide an atmosphere in which fun, discipline and training combine to produce the best outcome for all. SPSC promotes a positive atmosphere where new members and their families are welcome.

The Future

SPSC has inclusive policies, The Inclusive Swimming Framework (ISF) and the incumbent Committee determines the future goals of the Club based on the needs of the membership. In recent years the Club has endeavoured to increase its membership and the number of competitive swimmers, which has resulted in better results at State and National meets.

Long Term Goals for the Club

• An increase in swimmers participating in the sport of swimming
• More swimmers competing at State and National Titles
• SPSC to be recognised as a centre of excellence for competitive swimming
• Representation at the Commonwealth and Olympic Games
• Improved results for the Club’s surf swimmers at State and National Level
